Architects of Air in Ottawa May 29,2010

I was able to attend this years presentation by Architects of Air in Ottawa this past weekend. They create these amazing air filled sculptures called luminaria that you can enter via an airlock to explore and enjoy. Hand made of plastic material, light fills the spaces in myriad of colour and musci flows through the structure as well. Quite an experience for both young and old! More photos here.

Hell or High Water - Petawawa River 2010

Attended the Hell or high Water raft and kayak races on the town section of the Petawawa River this weekend and shot a bunch of new whitewater images. The event keeps growing each year with more boaters and rafting participants joining. I was able to reconnect with a pile of old friends who I had not seen in a while. Wish i had a drysuit so I could of paddled the river as well. Here are some shots from the day and the rest can be seen here.
