Kraft dinner and flowers...

I had a requirement to get a photo of some Kraft dinner for a spot in upcoming annual report project I am working on, supper provided the perfect opportunity. My daughter is always ready to fill in as a model, very cooperative and her pay rate is afforable(usually ice cream). I set up small softbox and SB 80 triggered by radio remotes and used my D700 with 17-35mm . Shot several different versions and angles, quick and simple, food was still hot by the time I was finished. Single light setups are great!

After dinner we went out and plant some annuals in various pots and buckets. My daughter enjoys the chance to dig in the dirt. I shot some images using the same setup, this system is light and very portable. Again I used my D700 but I opted to use my 55mm Nikon manual focus lens, I love how sharp it is. I moved my light around as we worked.
You can see a few more here.
