The Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival is on in Ottawa this weekend and the weather finally cooperated enough to allow them to put the balloons in the air. The sun even cooperated and was able to sneak through some heavy cloud cover to illuminate these fantastic nylon creations. I was happy as well in that 2 other years I had went to observe the lift off both were canceled due to weather, 3rd time lucky!
Truly a spectacular sight.
